Amazing AMBER! I love it! And this piece has LOTS! The focal point is the rather large - but not overbearing - amber ball pendant accented with Bali style sterling silver. Each side has lots of amber chip beads in free-form shapes and sizes graduating from large to small. Amber is warm to touch and light to wear, switching with easy from fashion casual to business to evening. Perhaps the best thing about Amber ... aside from the very cool fact that it's MILLIONS-of-years-old-tree resin ... is the way it plays with the light - sometimes seeming to emit sunlight itself. That is shown a little in one of the photos below.
In this piece, the amber is accented with genuine Swarovski crystals, including the faceted round ones in the front. It is completed with solid .925 sterling silver, including a lobster clasp and decorated extension chain. The extension allows the piece to be worn at lengths ranging from 17.25" to 20". The amber ball in the pendant is .75" in diameter.
